Who we are

Sisu Analytics, LLC ("Sisu Analytics", "Sisu", "we") is a data analytics consultancy.

Part 1: This website

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how people use this site. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. The site also sends Google Analytics page speed measurements. We use this information to understand how the site is used.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Contact form

When you send the form on our contact page, the name, email, company and message you enter, plus the address of the page you sent it from, go to HubSpot. HubSpot is the customer relationship management (CRM) tool we use to manage inquiries.

We use this information to reply to you. We may also send you marketing emails. You can opt out at any time with the unsubscribe link in any of those emails.

Email

If you email us, we receive whatever you include in your email.

Theme setting

If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser saves that choice in local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Hosting

Netlify hosts this site. Like any web host, it processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages.

What we do not use

This site has no advertising pixels, no chat widgets and no other tracking tools beyond those listed above.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions in HubSpot until you ask us to delete them. To ask, email hello@sisuanalytics.com.

Part 2: Sisu Analytics - Data Pulls

Sisu Analytics - Data Pulls is a private app for Sisu Analytics clients. A client's QuickBooks Online administrator uses it to give Sisu read access to the client's accounting data. See the app overview for how it works.

What data it reads

  • Accounting records, for example accounts, invoices and purchases.
  • Summary reports, such as Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • These records can include names and contact details of the client's customers and vendors.

The app uses only the QuickBooks Online Accounting permission. It does not ask for payments, payroll or any other permission. It reads new and changed records once a day and runs a full reconciliation from time to time. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in QuickBooks.

Why we use it

We use the data only to build that client's reports and dashboards, under the client's service agreement with Sisu. We do not send QuickBooks data to AI models.

Sign-in

The administrator signs in through Intuit's OAuth 2.0. Sisu never sees or stores QuickBooks passwords.

Where it is stored

  • Connection credentials (the Intuit refresh token and the QuickBooks company ID) are stored encrypted in Microsoft Azure Key Vault.
  • Accounting data is stored in the client's own Microsoft cloud tenant. Sisu holds it in its own Microsoft cloud tenant only temporarily, and only if the client requires that.
  • Data that Sisu stores is kept in the United States.

Who can access it

Within Sisu, only staff and contractors who work on that client's engagement can access the data. They sign in with Microsoft work accounts that require multi-factor sign-in.

Sharing

We do not sell the data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties, except:

  • Microsoft, which hosts the data.
  • Intuit, as the source of the data.
  • When the law requires us to disclose it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

Disconnecting

The client's QuickBooks administrator can disconnect at any time from the apps area of QuickBooks Online, or by emailing us at hello@sisuanalytics.com. After a disconnect, the app can no longer read data, and Sisu deletes the stored connection token.

Deletion requests

A client can ask Sisu to delete its data by emailing hello@sisuanalytics.com. Sisu deletes the data within 7 days of the request.
